Q: Who can have Reflexology?
A: Anyone! men, women, children and even babies can benefit. A concise consultation should be done at the first appointment, to determine any relevant medical history/ current health issues. Reflexology can be safely applied during pregnancy, though care needs to be taken if there is a history of complications during the first trimester.
Reflexology may be unsuitable for clients with thrombosis/ DVT/ blood clotting problems.

Q: What happens during a treatment?
A: The initial consultation & treatment lasts approx 60-75 minutes. A detailed medical history is taken, with health and lifestyle issues/ problems being discussed.
Socks and shoes are removed, then a medium to firm pressure is applied to specific areas on the foot and ankle, in order to detect and treat any problem areas. By working these areas, corresponding organs, glands and parts of the body can be affected in order to aid healing and homeostasis.
Each subsequent session normally lasts 45-50 minutes, with the frequency of further treatments tailored to your specific needs.
Q: How will i feel after a treatment?
A: You should feel relaxed with an immediate sense of well-being!
Occasionally clients feel tired, nauseous or tearful. these are temporary and are part of the healing process
Q: Can my symptoms/illness worsen after treatment?
A: This can occasionally occur, but again is temporary, lasting for a short time.
Q. How much does a treatment cost?
A: The cost for a full treatment incl. a detailed consultation is £35.00 if within Doncaster area, £30.00 if in Sheffield (due to different clinic costs).
